DURHAM, N.C. -- If you could sum up your experience at the Nicholas School of the Environment in one word, what would it be?

“Um, that’s a good question,” said a laughing Sidney McLaurin, MEM '17.

“Hrrrmm….,” said Eleanor Johnstone, MEM '17. “One single word…”

Brianna Elliott, MEM '17, said, “That’s a really good question.”

“Educational?,” said Tripp Burwell, MEM '17, followed by laughter.

Burwell is one of several MEM ’17 students, including McLaurin, Johnstone and Elliott, who recently sat down to chat about their time at the Nic School – just weeks before graduation. They shared about Nic School faculty and staff who had an impact on them, which courses and internships they really liked and their sage advice for the next incoming class of MEM students.

Starting Monday, their comments are being featured in a new five-part ‘Graduation’ video series being launched at the Nic School’s website, and Twitter pages. A new video will be featured on social media each day this week, leading up to Saturday’s graduation.

Here’s a look at all five:
