Chainey A. Boroski is a 6th year Environment PhD candidate under the advisement of Dr. Ram Oren. She is currently engaged in ecophysiology research in the Duke Forest, with the purpose of informing sustainable forest management through a long-term comparative study of plant hydraulics in local pines. Post-PhD, she plans to pursue a career as a university educator and researcher, with a personal focus on outreach beyond academia through the writing of accessible scientific literature.
