NewsJuliet Wong will join the faculty at 91ÉçÇø¸£Àû’s Nicholas School of the Environment as assistant professor of coastal and marine climate change, effective July 1. Wong’s research focuses on how impacts from climate change, such as ocean acidification and warming, affect marine invertebrates.

NewsDean’s Award for Excellence in Mentoring. Timmins has dedicated significant time to working with graduate students at all levels, even after graduation. He helped create and leads the Environmental Justice Lab at Duke, which brings together undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students, as well as faculty and staff, from across departments.

PageFall semester follows a traditional schedule, with classes starting at the end of August and ending in early December. Duke has a fall break in mid-October.
